In the summer, it’s really hard to stay active.  Sometimes you just want to sit around all day doing nothing(or just go on Pinterest).  Today I want to show you that you can easily use Pinterest to kill summer boredom.  All you need to do is find some great boards to follow.  Here are seventeen boards(of all varieties) that you should see and follow.  They all have really great ideas for things you can do right now!  I also split them up into categories to make things easier.

My Ab Routine

This is my personal ab workout! Do it every day for some hard core abs! Even if you slack off and only do it a few times a week, you will still see results! The two things I love about this routine are that it’s quick and it only hurts right after doing it! You won’t be as sore as you would think(like with leg workouts)! The pain doesn’t linger very long and a few hours after doing it, you’ll feel fine! If you really want to be hard core, repeat the exercise a few times in a row! Be sure to do this in the spring so you can have fabulous abs for the summer! Hope you enjoy this workout!

Healthier Solutions: Afternoon Snack

It’s always good to eat healthy! One of my favorite snacks are apple slices with caramel! Here’s how to prepare it:

Prep time: <5 min.

What you need:

A big tasty apple

Caramel syrup(I used Smuckers)

An apple corer and a knife

1. Wash an apple and take the core out of it.

2. Use a knife to cut thin, horizontal slices.

3. Drizzle on some caramel and you’re ready to go!

Here’s another variation if you want something sweeter:

Prep time: 5 min.

What you need:

A big tasty apple

Peanut butter

Dry oats

(optional) Chocolate chips

An apple corer and a knife

1. Wash an apple and take the core out of it.

2. Use a knife to cut thin, horizontal slices.

3. Spread some peanut butter over top of each slice(a little messy)

4. Sprinkle some oats and/or chocolate chips on top and enjoy!
